Wait, is New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) being bulldozed by Caterpillar tools? Not really – I think Caterpillar is just advertising. It’s pretty neat to see construction vehicles by Wall Street.

German Sports Tower 2 still on design stage
After calling Pyamod / SKE Holdings, I found out the following about German Sports Tower 2 in Dubai Sports City:
“Presently, our architect and in-house engineers are working on a new design for GST2 since the Dubai Sports city has re-sized the plot for the said project. The new plot size for GST2 is smaller as compared the to original plot size our company bought it for.
I’m not sure however how long it will take to get all the papers done and approved to get the necessary building permit for GST2 and I know that it has already been a long wait for you. Should you however be interested, we can relocate you to another project of ours that’s also in Dubai Sports City and that has already started the shoring and piling stage.”
This project they mention is German Design Tower 1. Has anyone received this type of response? If so, do you think it’s wise to make the switch over to this new property?
Looking for the best salsa – Greenfly Gourmet Salsa Hot
Anyone know where I can find a gourmet hot salsa from Greenfly (except Amazon where you have to buy a case and that they charge $30 shipping)?? I called Shoprite and they said it’s discontinued there. This is the spiciest and greatest tasting salsa I’ve ever had! Here’s a pic of the bottle.

German Sports Tower 2 updates

I called Pyamod or SKE Holdings (using 00971 434 17 885 that NWA provided me) and spoke with ‘Lily’ over the phone. They answered the phone by saying ‘Hello Pyamod’ so I asked about SKE Holdings and she said that this is just like a sister company – so Pyamod still exists. I think because Paxino left the company, they decided to change the name to SKE Holdings; this doesn’t make too much sense but thought I’d mention this.
About German Sports Tower 2, she said that the project is on hold and that they are trying for the work permits. The land is only 15-20% paid – the rest of the money they got from the investors is used for taxes and to pay fees for the land department and similar. I asked where the remaining of the money is and if Pyamod still has a hold of everyone’s money – she started with a laugh and didn’t have a good answer for my question.
She also kept mentioning that she just got back from vacation and that she needs to get updated on the status. She took down certain information from me and said she’ll either call or e-mail within a few days with more details. Once I hear back, I’ll let you all know. Leg lamp found at Artichoke Pizza in NYC
It’s not for sale though – although I did find on a table by the window at Artichoke Pizza in New York City. Remember the leg lamp is from the movie ‘A Christmas Carol’ with Ralphee and his dad saying ‘Fragile’ it must be from Italy? This movie and lamp is classic! The pizza place is awesome as well – I recommend the artichoke pizza slice.
